Working under the supervision of a Program Manager, the role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and at the required quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships.\nThe Project Manager acts as a primary client contact, manages project quotes and workflows, coordinates cross-functional teams (such as Language Delivery, Technical Services, and QA), and oversees project execution from initiation to completion. Our RWS Transform division empowers organizations to accelerate digital transformation, scale global content, and unlock growth in every market.\nJob Overview\nKey Responsibilities\nManage localization projects from quotation through delivery, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.\nAct as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing requests, questions, and issues in a timely and professional manner.\nCoordinate cross-functional teams including Language Delivery, Technical Services, QA, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth project execution.\nPrepare and update project quotes, schedules, budgets, and workflows based on project requirements.\nIdentify and manage production risks, implementing mitigation actions when necessary.\nMonitor project progress and provide status updates, reporting, and post-mortem analysis to improve future processes.\nEnsure compliance with internal procedures, ISO requirements, and quality standards.\nManage administrative project tasks such as project closure, translation memory updates, and documentation maintenance.\nOversee resource coordination, ensuring vendors and internal teams have the necessary tools, instructions, and information.\nSupport account development by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.\nCollaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to improve workflows, processes, and project performance.\nProvide guidance or task allocation to junior team members when required.\nSkills & Experience\nBachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, English, Foreign Languages, Social/Applied Sciences, or a related field.\n3-5 years of experience coordinating or managing projects within the localization or translation industry.\n Proven client service and account management experience (typically at least 2 years).\nStrong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.\nExperience working with translation management systems and CAT tools (e.g., TRADOS or similar tools).\nFamiliarity with publishing or content tools such as FrameMaker, InDesign, or similar platforms.\nExcellent organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.\nStrong communication skills in written and spoken English.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions with limited supervision.\nHigh level of attention to detail and quality focus.\nExperience mentoring or guiding junior team members is a plus.\nFluency in an additional foreign language is a plus.\nPMP certification is considered an advantage.\nLife at RWS\nLife at RWS- If you like the idea of working with smart people who are passionate about growing the value of ideas, data and content by making sure organizations are understood, then you’ll love life at RWS.\nOur purpose is to unlock global understanding.
