Its education is accredited by the RACGP and ACRRM.\nTogether, our live and digital platforms give you the opportunity to work on education that reaches healthcare professionals across Australia.\nAbout the role\nAs our Medical Content Developer, you’ll sit at the heart of the content development process, helping shape education from initial concept through to final publication and delivery.\nWorking with clinical experts, medical writers and internal teams, you’ll translate medical evidence, guidelines and educational objectives into clear, relevant and practical learning for busy healthcare professionals.\nYou’ll work across multiple projects and formats, including ThinkGP online learning and GPCE conference content, balancing clinical accuracy, accreditation requirements, editorial quality and the needs of different stakeholders.\nReporting to the Portfolio Director with a dotted line to the Head of Content, you’ll collaborate closely with the Project Manager, clinical experts, writers, and our editorial, digital and marketing teams.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nPartner with the Head of Content, clinical experts and medical writers to develop learning outcomes and shape high-quality GP education\nTranslate medical evidence and clinical guidelines into clear, engaging and practical educational content\nEnsure content meets educational objectives, editorial standards and RACGP/ACRRM accreditation requirements\nBrief and manage medical writers, establish timelines and provide clear editorial direction throughout development\nReview, edit and proof CPD activities, conference presentations and supporting educational resources\nMaintain consistency in clinical accuracy, tone and editorial style across GPCE and ThinkGP\nWork closely with clinicians and other stakeholders to manage feedback and content revisions\nOversee final content uploads and quality assurance within ThinkGP and GPCE systems\nIdentify opportunities to improve workflows and help us efficiently scale our content production\nWhat we’re looking for\nYou’re an experienced medical or scientific content professional who enjoys turning complex clinical information into education that is accurate, useful and easy to engage with.\nYou’ll be comfortable working directly with healthcare professionals and subject matter experts, while also having the organisation and attention to detail needed to manage multiple content projects.\nYou’ll bring:\nExperience developing medical, clinical or scientific educational content\nStrong medical writing, editing and proofreading skills across digital and print\nConfidence interpreting medical evidence and clinical guidelines\nExcellent project coordination and stakeholder management skills\nThe ability to work collaboratively with clinicians, medical writers and cross-functional teams\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to editorial and clinical accuracy\nExperience using Microsoft PowerPoint and Word\nFamiliarity with content management systems and Excel\nKnowledge of RACGP and/or ACRRM accreditation requirements, or the willingness to learn\nExperience with Articulate 360 or other e-learning development software would be an advantage.\nWhy join us?\nThis is an opportunity to do more than simply write or edit medical content.\nYou’ll join a small, passionate team where you can influence how GP education is developed and delivered across both digital learning and major live events.\nYou’ll have the opportunity to:\nMake a genuine impact through education designed to support GPs and ultimately improve patient care\nWork across digital and live education, giving you variety beyond a traditional medical writing role\nCollaborate with clinical experts and turn the latest evidence and guidance into practical education\nOwn content from concept through to delivery, rather than working on just one part of the process\nHelp shape and improve how we work, bringing new ideas to our content development and production processes\nIf you’re passionate about medical education, love turning complex clinical information into clear and practical learning, and want your work to have genuine reach across Australian primary care, we’d love to hear from you.\n\nWe know your well-being and happiness are key to a long and successful career.
