The role focuses on UI test automation, accessibility testing, AI-assisted quality engineering, and risk-based testing, partnering with Product and Engineering teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and inclusive product releases. The engineer plays a key role in advancing testing practices from manual-heavy execution to intelligent, automation-assisted quality engineering.\nResponsibilities:\n6+ years of Quality Engineering / QA experience with a strong focus on test automation and web application testing.\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for UI, API, and regression testing.\nApply risk-based testing techniques to prioritize testing efforts and improve release confidence.\nExecute automated and exploratory testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional, usability, and accessibility requirements.\nLeverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) to improve test design, test data creation, automation development, and testing efficiency.\nCollaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Architects to ensure requirements are testable, complete, and aligned to quality objectives.\nAnalyse defects, logs, monitoring data, and test results to identify risks and support root cause analysis.\nContribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks, quality practices, and engineering standards across teams.\nRequirements:\nMust-Have Skills\nStrong hands-on experience with UI test automation frameworks such as Playwright/Selenium.\nProven experience in Accessibility Testing, including knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 standards, accessibility validation tools (e.g., Axe, Lighthouse), and inclusive design principles.\nExperience testing modern web applications, user journeys, responsive interfaces, and cross-browser compatibility.\nStrong understanding of API testing, REST services, and SQL/data validation.\nExperience implementing automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.\nHands-on experience using AI-assisted testing tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT to accelerate quality engineering activities.\nCloud platform experience (AWS or similar).\nStrong analytical, debugging, defect investigation, and root-cause analysis skills.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence quality outcomes across cross-functional teams.\nNice to Have\nPerformance testing experience and knowledge of observability/monitoring tools.\nExposure to security testing concepts.\nExperience championing accessibility and automation best practices across multiple teams.\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organization.
