This role is responsible for leading a team of operational administrators and coordinators while ensuring the efficient movement, tracking and return of customer inventory through the RXO network.\nThe successful candidate will act as the central point of coordination between warehouse operations, transport planning, customer service teams, technology partners and senior management to ensure service excellence, inventory accuracy and timely delivery performance.\nThe role requires a proactive leader capable of driving operational excellence, implementing process improvements and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships within a fast-paced logistics environment.\nLogistics Leadership & Operational Coordination\nLead the day-to-day coordination of the Amazon VRET operation, ensuring delivery aligns with agreed customer expectations and service requirements.\nManage daily operational workflow, ensuring service levels and customer commitments are achieved.\nMonitor workload, productivity and operational KPIs across the team.\nProvide guidance and direction to team members and operational stakeholders supporting the VRET operation, ensuring service consistency and operational excellence.\nAct as the escalation point for operational issues, customer concerns and service risks relating to the VRET activity.\nAmazon VRET Operational Management\nOversee the end-to-end Vendor Returns process from inventory receipt through to final customer delivery.\nEnsure inventory records are maintained accurately and exceptions are investigated and resolved promptly.\nCoordinate inbound inventory flows and outbound delivery schedules to maximise operational efficiency.\nMonitor inventory levels, storage capacity and throughput performance.\nSupport continuous development of VRET operating procedures, operational governance and best practices.\nCustomer & Delivery Management\nEnsure customer delivery appointments are arranged and managed within agreed service levels.\nMaintain excellent relationships with Amazon customer stakeholders, warehouse partners and transport providers.\nManage exception activity, including failed deliveries, customer refusals, inventory discrepancies and delivery rebooking requirements.\nEnsure all customer communication is professional, timely and solution focused.\nWarehouse & Transport Coordination\nLiaise closely with warehouse operations and transport planning teams to coordinate inventory movement and outbound delivery activity.\nSupport trailer management, inventory tracking and warehouse capacity planning.\nAssist with delivery scheduling and resource planning during peak operational periods.\nWork collaboratively with operational stakeholders to resolve capacity constraints and service challenges.\nContinuous Improvement & Reporting\nAnalyse operational performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.\nProduce and maintain operational reports, dashboards and tracking tools.\nSupport automation and technology initiatives that improve operational accuracy and efficiency.\nDevelop and implement new procedures to improve service quality and operational productivity.\nEnsure compliance with all company processes, SOPs and customer requirements.\nStakeholder Management\nBuild strong working relationships with internal departments including Operations, Planning, Customer Service, IT and Finance.\nSupport external relationships with Amazon customer stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, strong engagement and effective resolution of service matters.\nSupport operational reviews and business performance meetings.\nProvide timely updates and management information to senior leadership.\nCoordinate operational activities across multiple sites, customers and service providers.\nSkills:\nPreferred Education & Experience:\nStrong logistics leadership and people management capability.\nExcellent organisational and planning skills.\nAbility to prioritise workload and manage competing deadlines.\nStrong commercial awareness and customer focus.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving capability.\nAbility to influence across departments and operational functions.\nPositive, proactive and resilient approach.\nContinuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational excellence.\nExperience supporting operational service delivery, customer accounts or logistics coordination activities.\nPrevious experience within transport, logistics, warehousing or supply chain operations.\nStrong understanding of inventory control and operational processes.\nExperience managing customer-facing service activities.\nExperience supporting customer stakeholder relationships and operational performance reviews.\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nExperience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.\nStrong reporting and analytical skills.\nDoes this sound like you?
