This position is available as a summer internship.\nJob Responsibilities:\nAssist the project team in the completion of designated projects while focusing on learning construction industry processes, procedures, and Ryan business policies.\nGain a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.\nDevelop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMust have a high school diploma or equivalent\nMust be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Construction Engineering/Management or closely-related field\nAble to work 40 hours a week\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAt least one summer of construction work experience\nHave a general knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods\nCan perform mathematical calculations\nCan read and understand contracts, specifications and architectural and engineering drawings\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nCompensation:\nThe hourly wage is $20-$25/hour .
