At Ryan, we don’t just build buildings - we build stories.\nSome things you can expect to do:\nDevelop, understand, and document a working knowledge of each construction project including all applicable owner contract requirements\nCreate and administer owner billings to exact schedule and timekeeping requirements\nProactive attention to collection of open receivables\nPerform proactive project cost review and analysis\nSupport Cost Project Manager with monthly financial projections and management of cost events.\nDevelop processes and procedures to meet applicable compliance requirements set forth by owners and Federal, State, and Local authorities ensuring proper audit trail for future accessibility\nCommunicate with Project Managers, Director of Construction, and all other necessary internal personnel with respect to strategic and day-to-day job requirements\nResponsible for administration of prime contractor process including insurance and registration process specific to the project\nInternal and external customer assistance and service\nQuickly respond to any job-specific accounting questions or issues\nMaintain web-based project management system\nManage accounting and contract closeout process with owner on projects\nSome things we expect you to have:\n3-5 years of accounting and administrative experience in a commercial environment.\n2 years in the construction industry.\nBachelor's degree in accounting and/or business-related field of study.\nStrong organizational & analytical skills and good mathematical aptitude with knowledge of accounting, invoicing, and audit procedures.\nAble to collaborate and contribute professionally within a team structure.\nYou will really stand out if you have:\nSelf-motivation to accurately and efficiently complete all aspects of the project with minimal supervision.\nSelf-motivated and drives for continuous improvement both on an individual level and business level.\nCompensation:\nThe base pay range is $75,000 - $95,000 annually. The salary may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities.
