This position is available in 2027 as a summer internship running from May-August, or a Spring Co-op running from January-August, or a Fall Co-op running from May-December.\nAs a Project Engineer Intern, you will assist the project team in the completion of designated projects while focusing on learning construction industry processes, procedures, and Ryan business policies.\nSome things you can expect to do:\nGain a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.\nDevelop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety.\nTo be successful in this role:\nYou must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering/management or closely related field and within 18 months of graduating.\nBe able to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term.\nYou will really stand out if you:\nHave a general knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods.\nHave the ability to perform mathematical calculations.\nPossess the ability to read and understand contracts, specifications and architectural and engineering drawings.\nCommunicate clearly orally and in writing.\nCompensation:\nThe hourly base pay range is $20 - $25 per hour. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities.
