If this describes you, we encourage you to apply today.\nSome things you can expect to do:\nInterface closely with Mission Critical Campus Safety Manager, Field Managers and employees to implement, monitor and enforce the safety program. \nContribute to the safety and health program management, design, and continual improvement. \nMonitors construction activities and advises management on compliance with applicable regulatory rules, regulations, and/or laws. \nCollect and monitor project safety programs from all subcontractors that are specific to the project. \nAssists in the investigation of all project accidents, incidents and near misses. \nAnalyzes investigative data and assists in the development of preventive measures to eliminate or control hazards and potential liability. \nAssists in the preparation and submittal of accident reports as prescribed by federal, state, client and local regulations. \nConduct regular safety inspections of the project including those with project leadership or other project personnel of the project, equipment, and materials to identify hazards and ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations. \nCollects, develops, and disseminates materials and information used in program development and to further safety protection training. \nAssist with compiling and distributing statistical reports on safety performance, accident costs and OSHA related fines. \nAssist with the development of appropriate databases to perform data analytics in support of operational improvement and zero incident initiatives \nParticipate in all preconstruction safety meetings and safety committee meetings. \nReview JHA’s, PTP’s and permits required by subcontractors. \nConduct project safety orientations, toolbox talks, and all job safety meetings. \nAssist in the oversite of safety support personnel assigned to the project. \nConducts safety and health program evaluations of construction activities and advises supervision and management of adequacy and compliance with mandatory rules and regulations. \nAssist and provides training and other technical support services on safety related topics for mission critical projects to project supervision. \nAssist with implementation of company drug and alcohol testing programs. \nAdministers and coordinates medical treatment facilities for injured workers. \nProvides interface with OSHA. \nAssists at each site during compliance inspections. \nAssist and coordinate with OSHA Consultation visits, OSHA Partnerships, and programs on construction sites. \nAssist and coordinates and participates in all OSHA fines and citation meetings. \nSome things we expect you might have:\nAbility to work independently and productively with others. \nKnowledge of mission critical project systems preferred. \nKnowledge of LOTO requirements. \nKnowledge of NFPA 70E requirements. \nAssist in incident investigations including near misses, injuries, property damage, and those impacting the public. \nIndividual must possess a good working understanding of OSHA related to the construction industry. \nIndividual must have a minimum 3 years safety experience within the construction industry. \nGood oral communication - effectively relates to individuals or group situations. \nGood written skills - able to express ideas and clearly communicate ideas. \nAbility to utilize construction technology systems and multiple computer software platforms. \nDemonstrates leadership - effective in leading group or individual toward completion of tasks. \nInitiative - must be a self-starter and complete tasks with little supervision, take a pro-active approach and develop new and innovative solutions. \nOSHA 30-hour construction certificate. \nCurrent first-aid, CPR and AED training from a nationally recognized organization \nAssociate or bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health, risk management, electrical engineering or a related field of study. \nCSP, CSP, CIH, ASP, CHST board certified credential is a plus. \nAbility to temporarily travel to project locations. \nEligibility:\nPosition requires verification of employment to work in the U.S.\nBenefits:\nCompetitive Salary\nMedical, Dental and Vision Benefits\nRetirement and Savings Benefits\nFlexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts\nLife Insurance\nShort-Term and Long-Term Disability\nEducational Assistance\nPaid Time Off (PTO)\nEmployee Assistance and Wellness Programs\nFamily Planning & Parenting Benefits\nEmployee Discount Programs\nPet insurance\nCharitable Donation Matching\nVolunteer Time Off (VTO)\nEmployee Resource Groups (ERGs)\nDisclaimer: Eligibility may vary based on factors such as role, hours worked, employment status, length of service, location, and other considerations.
