We are seeking self-motivated and professional candidates to provide expertise to the development accounting process!\nSome things you can expect to do:\nDevelop, understand, and document a working knowledge of the real estate development cycle.\nEffectively communicate with a wide array of personnel both internal and external to Ryan, including executive leadership, investment partners and lenders\nPrepare requisitions and invoices to be used to fund the draw requests from lending institutions.\nPartner with Ryan’s Legal and Capital Markets teams in the execution of land closings, project financing closings, joint venture closings, and asset sale closings.\nOversee internal cash-flow and GAAP financial projections pertaining to development pursuits, asset sales, development fees and asset acquisitions. \nMaintain project-specific GAAP financial statements on a monthly and quarterly basis. \nPrepare tax schedules for Joint Venture development projects.\nApply accounting principles (including joint venture partnerships and consolidation rules) for Ryan developed projects.\nPrepare ad hoc management reports to the company Owners, lenders and regional operating officers.\nPrepare schedules to support the annual external audit. \nTo be successful in this role, you must be/have:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience\n2-5 years of accounting experience; CPA preferred\nStrong time management skills and proven ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines\nStrong verbal and written skills\nComfortable in a fast-paced environment\nYou’ll really stand out if:\nYou have public accounting experience\nExperience working with a real estate developer\nCompensation:\nThe annual base pay is $80,000.00 - $100,000.00. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities.
