Update 4D schedules to track progress, convey short-term activities and manage critical path milestones. \nLeverage the construction model for staging and onsite logistics. \nRead and comprehend construction documents and project BIM requirements and apply them to VDC processes. \nReview shop drawings with construction model for accuracy. Coordinate with other disciplines to create a detail review utilizing virtual mockups. \nProvide models and documents necessary to complete scope determined by VDC leadership and project teams/internal clients. \nIncorporate design updates into project models. \nAnalyze construction documents and models, look for errors and omissions, and report as necessary. \nSupport operations with self-perform model management and layout. \nCommunicate VDC related project constraints to supervisor and project teams in a timely manner to minimize project impacts. \nGain exposure to cross functional workflows and process. \nProvide training to project teams on utilization of BIM tools \nGain exposure to the process of aligning owner requirements, BIM execution plans, front end scopes of work, and makes sure minimum project requirements are met \nGain exposure to complex VDC delivery strategies and processes. \nGain exposure to the field layout processes. \nGain exposure to self-perform VDC processes. \nCandidate Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree preferably in Construction Engineering/Management, Architecture or Engineering. \nIn lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a 2-year degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or a BIM focused degree in Construction Engineering/Management with relevant experience will be considered. \nAt least 3 years of overall experience in the construction or design field. \nAt least 2 years of experience in a Virtual Design and Construction, or BIM related role. \nAbility to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner. \nAbility to solve complex problems quickly and effectively. \nPresentation skills and the ability to teach teammates technological processes. \nPossess a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize workload accordingly. \nFamiliarity and comfort with current technology and applications. \nAbility to read and understand plans, drawings, and specifications. \nBasic understanding of construction scheduling techniques. \nBasic knowledge of construction estimating techniques. \nBasic knowledge of the complete cycle of a construction project (pursuit, contractual, design-management, preconstruction, procurement, construction, quality, closeout, turnover) \nKnowledge of BIM technologies and the ability to apply them to overall VDC processes and application in the AEC industry. \nAbility to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally. \nKnowledge of BIM technology solutions including Autodesk BIM360, Construction Cloud, Design Collaboration, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage, Bluebeam, and Laser scanning process. \nAbility to quickly learn additional BIM technology applications including Rhino, Lumion 3D, Procore, Synchro 4D and Sketchup. \nKnowledge or ability to quickly learn Adobe Creative Cloud applications including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. \nAbility to travel as needed for project success and team training. \nProficient in verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. \nAbility to effectively work independently, as well as with others in a collaborative environment and matrix organizational structure. \nDemonstrated ability to plan, organize, prioritize and manage time to effectively meet deadlines. \nAttention to detail and quality with a strong focus on customer service and appropriate sense of urgency and good judgment in varied situations. \nAbility to concentrate on tasks, make decisions and work effectively in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment. \nAbility to maintain stamina throughout a standard workday, on- and off-site as well as maintain regular attendance during required work hours. \nCommitment to Ryan Values: Safety, Integrity, Respect, Stewardship, Family, Excellence and Fun. \nCompensation:\nThe annual salary range is $89,900.00 - 112,400.00.
