This role involves managing specialized facilities such as high-tech manufacturing plants, laboratories, or biotech production sites with cleanrooms, R&D labs, or advanced manufacturing lines, integrating cutting-edge systems\nSome things you can expect to do:\nDevelop contacts and quickly builds relationships with potential customers.\nEffectively negotiates business and legal provisions of construction contracts.\nConsistently achieves high levels of quality, design and profitability on projects assigned to the team.\nAssure the team’s accounts receivables are managed effectively and collected promptly.\nAssure the team’s warranty issues are resolved promptly and effectively.\nAssure that general team administrative responsibilities are carried out promptly and accurately.\nParticipate or lead owner/client presentations and negotiations.\nOversee design development, budget preparation and development of project schedules.\nSupervise team of Project Engineers, Sr. Project Engineers, Project Managers I & II, and Project Assistants, as required, depending on assigned project(s).\nPlay a key role in developing procurement strategy including preparing bid documents, negotiating and awarding subcontracts.\nJob Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus\nAt least 10 years of project management experience in the commercial construction industry (industrial preferred).\nAdvanced knowledge of construction means and methods, building types, estimating, scheduling, cost control, material pricing and design management is required.\nYou will really stand out if you:\nHave experience leading science and technology projects (e.g., labs, data centers, R&D facilities).\nHave proven ability to manage teams successfully and profitably.\nCan make effective and convincing formal sales presentations.\nDelegate appropriate type and amount of work to others in order to leverage personal effectiveness.\nEffectively prioritize and balance big picture & immediate responsibilities.\nCompensation:\nThe salary range is $140,000 - $180,000. The salary base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities.
