This is a \"learn-while-you-earn\" opportunity where you’ll gain hands-on experience in the green industry from the best in the business.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nAs a Field Apprentice, you aren’t just a helper-you’re a professional in training. You will work alongside our certified specialists to:\nAssist in the application of lawn treatments and pest control.\nLearn the art and science of tree care, pruning, and removals.\nAssist in landscape installation, plant maintenance, and the construction of high-quality hardscapes (patios, walkways, and retaining walls, decks, fences, etc…)\nInstall and maintain irrigation systems and outdoor lighting; perform essential service and repairs to existing irrigation setups.\nOperate equipment safely and efficiently.\nInteract with customers to provide world-class service and education on their landscapes.\nAt Ryan Lawn & Tree, we don't just hope you succeed-we train you for it. All apprentices will go through two of our Foundations Academy programs, a dedicated training program designed to:\nBuild Technical Skills: Gain hands-on training in the specific tools and techniques of your trade.\nSpeed to Competency: Fast-track your learning so you can become a confident, contributing member of your targeted department sooner.\nBecome a Well-Rounded Professional: Build a comprehensive \"toolbelt\" of skills by gaining exposure across multiple departments, ensuring you understand how every specialty works together to create a beautiful landscape.\nCareer Roadmap: Transition from a \"new hire\" to a skilled professional with a clear understanding of our standards and safety protocols.\nRequirements\nReliability: You show up ready to work and eager to learn.\nExcellent communication skills required to effectively collaborate and ensure efficiencies within a department.\nPhysical Stamina: You enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions and can handle physical labor. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and walk up to 3 miles a day.\nGrowth Mindset: You want a career, not just a job.\n Clean Driving Record: A valid driver’s license is required.
