The Manager will gain an understanding of the client’s needs from a credits and incentives perspective, identify tax savings opportunities for clients, formulate strategies for claiming credits and incentives benefits, and complete related application and compliance filings. This position requires experience identifying and applying for state tax credits as well as knowledge with structuring transactions for negotiated incentives.Duties and Responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results\nPeople:\nCreate a positive team member experience.\nClient:\nDevelop client work plans and schedules associated with project deliverables.\nPrepare and conduct presentations for clients and state and local agencies.\nTravel to client locations.\nAssist with client billing and financial forecasting.\nResearch credit and incentive programs for client eligibility.\nRespond to client inquiries and requests from federal and state agencies.\nValue:\nManage complex state and local incentive projects\nPrepare and review calculations of credit and incentive benefits.\nManage incentive compliance for approved programs.\nResearch issues, performing retroactive credit reviews, amending returns, and determining prospective benefits.\nNegotiate incentives with state and local agencies.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance required with four to six years of credits and incentives related experience.\nComputer Skills:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.\nLicenses:\nValid driver’s license required.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nDirectly supervises employees in the Credits and Incentives practice and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Firm’s policies and applicable laws.\nWork Environment:\nStandard indoor working environment.\nOccasional long periods of sitting while working at computer\nPosition requires
