You will play a key role in developing client relationships, supporting business growth, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to the development of innovative solutions that differentiate our offering in the market.\nNo two days are the same. You may find yourself advising multinational manufacturers on customs strategy, supporting retailers with supply chain transformation, helping businesses respond to new trade measures, or contributing to the development of technology-enabled solutions that transform how trade compliance is delivered.\nThis position is located in Manchester, UK or London UK\nKey Responsibilities:\nDelivering quality customs and foreign trade services to clients across multiple industries and sectors.\n\nManaging client engagements from scoping through to delivery.\n\nBuilding trusted relationships with client stakeholders and identifying opportunities to expand services.\n\nSupporting the development of innovative, technology-enabled and scalable client solutions.\n\nContributing to thought leadership, market profile, and business development initiatives.\n\nCoaching and developing junior team members.\n\nWorking collaboratively across service lines and international teams to deliver integrated solutions.\n\nHelping shape the future direction of a rapidly growing Customs and Foreign Trade practice.\n\nEducation and Experience:\nWe are looking for ambitious individuals who combine strong technical capability with commercial awareness, curiosity, and an entrepreneurial mindset.\nEssential Experience\nSignificant experience in customs and international trade advisory, either within consultancy, industry, government, or a related environment.\n\nStrong technical knowledge of customs regulations, compliance, and international trade frameworks, specifically across classification, valuation, origin, reliefs and special procedures.\n\nExperience managing client relationships and delivering complex projects.\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\n\nCommercial awareness and a passion for helping clients solve complex challenges.\n\nA collaborative approach and desire to contribute to team growth and culture.\n\nDesirable Experience\nWe are particularly interested in candidates with experience beyond traditional customs advisory, including one or more of the following areas:\nExcise duties and related compliance requirements.\n\nEnvironmental and sustainability-related trade regulations, including Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and EU Deforestation Regulations (EUDR).\n\nTrade remedies and trade defence measures.\n\nExport controls and sanctions.\n\nSupply chain and trade transformation programmes.\n\nBrokerage and customs filing services.\n\nProduct development, digital solutions, technology-enabled service delivery, data analytics, AI, or process automation.\n\nThe Type of Person Who Will Thrive Here\nYou are naturally curious about global trade, economics, politics, and regulatory change.
