The Manager supports the Director of FP&A and assists in providing financial consulting and strategic support to senior management, including routine analytical reviews of company financial and operational performance, preparation of financial packages and presentations, revenue and expense analyses, and other projects requested by the Director of FP&A and/or senior management. The FP&A group acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support “optimal” business decision makingDuties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results\nPeople:\nCreate a positive team member experience.\nMay supervise Financial Analyst(s).\nClient:\nSupports senior management, region leaders, and Practice Leaders with in-depth analyses.\nPrepares and delivers presentations to the Ryan Board of Directors and senior management teams.\nMeets with division presidents and practice leads to discuss monthly financials and assist with analysis that may affect financials\nValue:\nAnalyzes current and past trends of key performance indicators, highlighting issues and causes of unexpected variances.\nManages governance of FP&A reporting, standards and tools to ensure integrity and consistency of work products.\nManages changes to GL metadata and financial hierarchy to ensure alignment across department, reporting & systems.\nDesigns and develops monthly and/or quarterly financial reports and prepares variance analysis against annual and quarterly budget and prior periods.\nManages consolidation, report development, and modeling for annual budging and quarterly forecasting processes.\nMaintain and enhance the design of FP&A reporting and process by leveraged corporate performance management tool. \nAnalyzes complex financial information and reports (including all areas of revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures).\nProvides accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.\nPrepares presentations in support of board and shareholder meetings, monthly/quarterly senior leadership meetings and various strategic committees of the company.\nManages the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plan, and modeling tools.\nUse business intelligence tools and dashboard reports to develop insights and analysis.\nProactively looks to improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand return on investment (ROI) in new acquisitions, practice areas, and international expansions.\nDevelops financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.\nPerforms ad-hoc reporting and analysis.\nOther projects as assigned.\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university, at least 5-7 years related experience.\nProven experience successfully leading a team\nMust be able to perform complex analysis\nMust be articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills\nMust be able to think creatively\nMust be highly driven, and self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to roll up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity.\nExperience in an international professional services environment preferred. \nComputer Skills:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must have advanced skills, in Microsoft® Excel, PowerPoint, and AI technologies. Experience using accounting software is preferred.\nCertificates and Licenses:\nValid driver's license required\nCertified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nMay directly supervise employees on the FP&A team.
