This role manages cross-functional projects, oversees solution design and implementation, and ensures high-quality delivery of client and internal solutions. The Manager serves as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders, clients, and technical teams to drive operational excellence, innovation, and measurable business outcomes.Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results\nPeople:\nCreates a positive, accountable, and collaborative team environment aligned with Ryan’s core values.\nLeads, mentors, and develops professionals to ensure high performance and continuous growth.\nManages resource allocation, workload distribution, and performance management.\nPromotes cross-functional collaboration across practices, technology teams, and external partners.\nProvides coaching on project management methodologies, systems, and best practices.\nClient:\nServes as a primary point of contact for internal and/or external stakeholders.\nLeads project scoping, planning, execution, and delivery to ensure alignment with business objectives.\nDevelops and manages project workplans, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.\nProactively communicates project status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.\nEnsures deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.\nSupports business development activities, including proposal development, solution design, and client presentations, as applicable.\nManages financial aspects of projects, including forecasting, billing oversight, and cost controls.\nValue:\nLeads implementation and optimization of technology-enabled business solutions, including system configuration, data management, automation, and process transformation initiatives.\nOversees requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.\nIdentifies opportunities to improve processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive innovation.\nEstablishes and maintains project governance standards, communication plans, and escalation protocols.\nEnsures data integrity, system reliability, and compliance with Firm standards and regulatory requirements.\nDevelops training materials, documentation, and change management plans to support adoption of new systems and processes.\nDrives continuous improvement initiatives that create measurable value for the Firm and its clients.\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.\nMinimum of 5-7 years of experience leading projects, managing business solutions, or delivering technology-enabled services.\nExperience in consulting, implementation, enterprise systems, data management, process improvement, or tax-related environments preferred.\nDemonstrated success managing multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.\nComputer Skills:\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.\nExperience working with enterprise systems, databases, reporting tools, project management platforms, or business applications.\nFamiliarity with project management tools and collaboration platforms preferred.\nRequired Skills:\nStrong project and program management capabilities\nExcellent written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills\nAbility to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nAbility to manage ambiguity and drive structured solutions\nFinancial and operational acumen\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience implementing enterprise software or automation solutions\nExposure to ERP systems or large-scale business platforms\nExperience with data analysis, reporting, or data transformation initiatives\nKnowledge of tax, accounting, or regulatory environments\nExperience leading digital transformation or process automation initiatives\nFamiliarity with Agile, Scrum, Lean, or other structured project methodologies\nCertificates and Licenses:\nProfessional certifications such as PMP, Agile/Scrum certifications, Lean/Six Sigma, CPA, or other relevant industry credentials are preferred.\nValid driver’s license may be required, depending on role assignment.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nThis position may directly supervise team members and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Firm policies and applicable laws.\nCompensation Pay Transparency:\nFor certain California based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $126,000.00 - $171,050.00\nFor other California based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $115,500.00 - $156,475.00\nFor Colorado based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $110,500.00 -
