This role is critical to Ryan’s overall project delivery success, ensuring initiatives are effectively planned, coordinated, and executed on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with business priorities.Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results\nPeople\nProvide effective project leadership across technology initiatives, fostering accountability, collaboration, and a strong delivery mindset among project team members.\nLead cross-functional project teams consisting of IT, business, vendor, and implementation partner resources to successfully achieve project objectives.\nEstablish clear roles, responsibilities, expectations, and communication practices across project teams.\nBuild trusted relationships with business stakeholders, technology leaders, product owners, and technical teams to facilitate effective decision-making and issue resolution.\nPromote a culture of transparency, continuous improvement, and shared accountability throughout the project lifecycle.\nCoach project team members on project management disciplines, delivery practices, risk management, and effective stakeholder engagement.\nFacilitate collaboration across global, regional, and functional teams to ensure alignment on project priorities, dependencies, and outcomes.\nClient\nPlan and manage technology projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.\nPartner with business and technology stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, success criteria, deliverables, and implementation plans.\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including milestones, resource requirements, dependencies, budgets, risks, and critical-path activities.\nProvide clear, timely project status reporting to stakeholders and leadership, including progress against milestones, key decisions, risks, issues, and recommended actions.\nProactively identify and manage project risks, issues, constraints, and dependencies, escalating appropriately to maintain delivery momentum.\nCoordinate activities across application, infrastructure, security, data, architecture, integration, and business teams as required by the initiative.\nManage third-party vendors and implementation partners, including deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and performance against project commitments.\nLead project governance meetings, working sessions, steering committee discussions, and executive-level project updates as appropriate.\nCoordinate testing, deployment, change management, training, and business-readiness activities to support successful implementation and adoption.\nEnsure effective transition of completed solutions to operational and support teams.\nValue\nApply consistent project management methodologies, governance standards, tools, and controls to improve delivery predictability and project outcomes.\nEstablish and track project KPIs, milestones, financial performance, resource utilization, risks, and value-realization measures.\nManage project budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and taking appropriate corrective action to maintain financial discipline.\nEnsure technology investments remain aligned with approved business cases, strategic objectives, and expected business outcomes.\nIdentify opportunities to improve project delivery through standardization, automation, agile practices, and continuous process improvement.\nMaintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, RAID logs, decision logs, status reports, financial tracking, and governance materials.\nEnsure projects comply with applicable technology, security, architecture, data privacy, audit, and regulatory requirements.\nSupport portfolio planning and prioritization by providing accurate information regarding project capacity, dependencies, timelines, costs, and delivery risks.\nConduct project retrospectives and incorporate lessons learned into future delivery practices.\nEducation and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.\n5-8+ years of experience managing technology projects in complex enterprise environments.\nDemonstrated experience leading cross-functional IT projects involving enterprise applications, infrastructure, integrations, data, or digital transformation initiatives.\nStrong knowledge of project management methodologies and delivery frameworks, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.\nExperience developing and managing project plans, budgets, forecasts, resource plans, RAID logs, dependencies, and executive-level status reporting.\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while maintaining strong attention to scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business outcomes.\nExperience working with geographically dispersed teams, external vendors, and implementation partners.\nStrong stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nAbility to communicate complex technology concepts, project risks, and delivery considerations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nExperience with enterprise project and portfolio management tools and collaboration platforms.\nPMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar project management certification preferred.\nExperience within a global professional services or similarly complex organization
