This includes the use of both manual and automated testing to ensure that software not only functions as the end user expects but also that software is in compliance with Ryan standards.Duties and responsibilities,as they align to Ryan’s Key Results\nPeople:\nCreate a positive team member experience.\nProvides feedback to Business Analysts to ensure that requirements are clear and specific enough to convey the needs of the business.\nClient:\nResponds to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities.\nValue:\nDevelops, executes and maintains test plans\nReads and translates requirements into meaningful manual and automated test cases\nExecutes test plans and provides meaningful feedback on results\nWorks with Application developers to resolve issues and document bugs\nUse Jira to document issues and enhancements in the appropriate manner\nMaintains a schedule of testing across multiple software applications to ensure prompt feedback to developers\nDevelops and maintains documentation for all testing activities\nAssumes responsibility for the quality and compliance with standards and requirements for all Ryan applications\nAlerts the Product team to potential issues in a constant feedback loop\nPerforms other duties as needed and assigned\nRegression testing of the applications during the application release.\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Information Systems is preferred or equivalent work experience. Two to three years of hands-on administration experience with Software Quality Assurance and issue documentation.\nComputer Skills:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong analytical skills; strong oral and written communication skills; and excellent customer service skills and attitude.
