They undertake underwriting responsibilities for property and casualty coverage by applying established guidelines and ensure strict adherence to company policies and industry regulations.What will your job entail?\nJob Responsibilities:\nMaintains accurate and up-to-date data, electronic and physical files for underwriting records, policies, and endorsements.\nDocuments underwriting decisions via automated desktop systems and tools.\nSupports the collection, validation, and organization of data related to insurance applications and underwriting submissions.\nCoordinates the renewal process by gathering necessary information, preparing renewal documents, and assisting in client communications.\nCoordinates with others to manage production activities such as submissions, quotes, declines, binds, issuance, etc. to provide accurate, timely, and quality service to clients.\nUnderwrites individual insurance applications for Property and Casualty coverage, applying established guidelines for policy issuance, considering both standard and substandard criteria.\nEnsures that underwriting activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and compliance standards.\nAssists in internal and external audits by providing documentation and information related to underwriting activities.\nCollaborates with underwriting teams to relay information, coordinate tasks, and support the overall underwriting process.\nCommunicates with clients, brokers, and underwriters to gather additional information, clarify details, and address inquiries regarding underwriting submissions.\nDelivers excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for clients and stakeholders.\nWork Experience and Education:\nA minimum of 1+ years of experience in Underwriting \n*****Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time*****\nRyan Specialty is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
