The successful candidate will work with vendors, , service providers, and other tax professionals in carrying out his or her responsibilities. He or she will work with the VP of Tax, accounting department, and third-party service providers.Successful Ryan team members embrace and live Ryan’s values of Pursue Excellence, Wired to Win, Generosity Matters, Build Trust and Integrity Always and will embody and demonstrate accountability.\nThis is a hybrid role with about 3 days a week working from the office in Plano, TX and about 2 days a week working remotely from home.\nDuties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results\nPeople:\nCreate a positive team member experience.\nClient:\nManage outsource process for completion of sales and use tax filings, unclaimed property and VAT/GST tax returns including all related analysis and support\nAssist accounting and outside CPAs on statutory audits of international subsidiaries\nValue:\nMonitor exemption certificates received and issued\nReview tax paid on purchases and sales monthly\nResponsible for monthly reconciliation of taxes payable accounts.\nManages audits of state transaction tax and VAT/GST filings.\nResponsible for coordination of Pinpoint software sales and use tax maintenance\nOther duties as assigned/designated\nEducation/Experience:\nBachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Accounting. \nCPA preferred.\nFive plus years of related experience. Prefer some in a public accounting firm.\nExperience with ERP systems\nMust have a demonstrated hands-on approach and success in working in a team-based environment.\nComputer Skills:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate skills in Microsoft® Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access, and internet navigation/research.
