Job Description:

Summary

The Site Reliability Analyst will be responsible for the stability, accessibility and performance of production application environments which support Distribution Management and Transportation Management operations.

Essential Functions

• Analyzing and monitoring production application environments with the purpose of continuous improvement of operational performance and efficiency

• Provide world-class support to Ryder operations focusing on maintaining application environment stability, training and on-site support when applicable

• Responsible for the analysis, troubleshooting and resolution of level three technical incidents while adhering to departmental procedures

• Partner with the Infrastructure and Application teams to ensure issues are resolved in an efficient and timely manner

• Facilitate technical meetings to drive the resolution of issues and determine root cause

Additional Responsibilities

• Proactively learn new technologies to support applications as they become part of the Ryder portfolio

• Work closely with Project and Team Managers to provide status and other required information

• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities

• Analytical/technical ability and problem solving/troubleshooting skills

• Strong oral and written communications skills

• Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors) to produce high quality work with minimal supervision

• Quickly learn new applications and new technologies

• Ability to effectively and clearly communicate to the end-user community, tailoring the communication style/method to the specific need, and be able to discuss technical solutions in a non-technical manner (preferred)

• Organization skills with the ability to prioritize work effectively (preferred)

• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices (preferred)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in transportation, logistics and computer science or business

• Three (3) years or more in IT, preferably in transportation and/or logistics preferred

• Two (2) years or more in providing onsite/remote technical support preferred

• Two (2) years or more in warehouse and/or transportation management applications preferred

Compensation Information:
