We're looking for a Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and monitoring of PFI expiry and handback activities, ensuring a smooth, timely, and efficient transition of PFI projects. This position will have responsibility for lifecycle works, asset condition, remedial works, compliance and transition planning through to successful handback.\nRydon Maintenance Ltd provides hard facilities management services in partnership with a range of NHS Trusts. We provide reactive and planned maintenance to a number of NHS buildings and we work to strict timescales and safety requirements to ensure the comfort and safety of service users using these NHS facilities. With offices in the South East, to Bristol in the South West our experience has taken us across a variety of sensitive healthcare environments.\nJob Purpose\nWe’re looking for a highly organised Project Manager to join our team to manage projects, remedial works, defect rectification works associated with PFI contract expiry and handback. You will be providing dedicated support across our NHS PFI and LIFT contracts.\nYou will be overseeing the overall management and performance of identified hand back programmes of work from survey's, including feasibility reports, planning, design, construction, programme and commercial controls, ensuring each project is delivered to time, budget and specification.\nYou’ll work closely with operational and technical teams, Trusts, Project Co representatives, consultants and supply chain partners, ensuring that issues are properly understood, actions are tracked and project works are delivered.\nKey responsibilities include:\nMaintaining a comprehensive portfolio tracker covering external challenges, information requests, contractual notices, key deadlines and actions.\nCoordinating evidence from operational teams, helpdesks, asset and lifecycle records, compliance information and technical documentation.\nHelping to prepare clear, accurate and well-evidenced formal responses to Trusts, consultants and Project Co representatives.\nSupporting Handback and transition planning, including document control, meeting coordination, action tracking and progress reporting.\nCollating works into clear packages for supply chain partners and coordinating their delivery.\nProject managing works from identification through to completion, ensuring actions are progressed effectively and to agreed timescales.\nEnsuring rechargeable works are appropriately identified, tracked and recovered.\nProducing concise, meaningful updates that highlight key risks, approaching deadlines, progress and decisions required.\nWhat we can offer you;\nCompetitive starting salary\nCar allowance of £5,472\n25 days holiday with the ability to increase up to 30 days.\nPension Scheme: 4.5% contributory.\nHealth Cash Plan: helping you spread the cost of essential healthcare\n24/7 EAP Service: free advice, counselling and support for you and your family whenever you need it.\nLife Cover equivalent to 2 times annual salary.\nWellbeing and mental health champions readily available at work.\nAccess to an employee discount scheme which includes a wide-range of special offers and discounts on insurances, lifestyle goods and services.\nFlexible benefits for you to choose from including Private Medical, Critical Illness, DenPlan and Cycle to work schemes.\nEmployee Referral Scheme: recommend a personal connection to us and claim a cash reward for their successful hire.\nFree Flu Vaccinations\nFull training, ongoing coaching and support\nOpportunities for you to progress your career within the business\nExperience Required\nStrong Project Management experience with a record of successful project delivery in the Facilities Management / Construction industry.\nExperience working within an NHS PFI environment\nGood knowledge of lifecycle and asset management.\nExperience managing contractors across complex estates.\nStrong commercial, financial and programme management skills.\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills.\nHealth and Safety Qualifications i.e - IOSH / SMSTS\nAdditional Information\nAs a well established, progressive company we are committed to attracting and retaining individuals by offering an excellent benefits package that includes a wide range of core and voluntary benefits.\nRydon is an equal opportunities employer and promotes diversity in employment.
