This role is ideal for someone who understands content, advocacy, and community-building, and can represent Rylo authentically across digital platforms and in-person events.\nOn a day-to-day basis, you will:\nOwn the strategy, execution, and performance of Rylo’s social media channels, including LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Meta, TikTok, and more.\nPlan and manage content calendars, creating platform-specific content that drives growth, engagement, brand awareness, and product adoption.\nCollaborate with creative and editorial teams to develop compelling content, campaigns, and brand storytelling.\nMonitor social trends, audience sentiment, and industry conversations to keep Rylo relevant and culturally attuned.\nGrow Rylo’s visibility through community-building, partnerships, advocacy initiatives, and influencer collaborations.\nRepresent Rylo at industry events, conferences, panels, and networking opportunities.\nAnalyze social and campaign performance, applying insights to improve content, engagement, and conversions.\nRequirements\n5+ years of experience in social media, influencer marketing, community management, brand marketing, or advocacy.\nProven track record of growing social media audiences, engagement, and brand awareness across multiple platforms (such as LinkedIn and X).\nStrong copywriting, storytelling, and content strategy skills.\nExperience building and engaging online communities and strategic partnerships.\nPassion for inclusivity, accessibility, and empowering underserved communities.\nStrong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders.\nConfident public speaker or on-camera presence (with or without interpretation).\nFamiliarity with social media analytics and performance optimization.\nExperience with influencer partnerships, creator outreach, or influencer marketing is a plus.\nVideo editing or visual storytelling experience is a bonus.\nAvailability to work hours aligned with the Eastern Time Zone.\nCompensation:\n$120,000-$200,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.\nNice to Have:\nDeep understanding of Deaf culture and communication access.\nProficiency in ASL, or strong comfort working with ASL interpreters in Deaf-led spaces.\nDeep understanding of the accessibility landscape, including relay services (IP CTS, IP Relay) and assistive communication technologies.\nBenefits:\n Work on a fulfilling, life-changing product (literally)\nJoin as a key player at an early stage and receive generous options\nUnlimited time off and sick days\nAnnual company get-together\nMedical, Dental, and Vision plans with FSA, HSA, and Telehealth benefits\n401(k) plan with company match\nAbout us:\nRylo is the communication engine for people who are Deaf or hard of hearing.
