You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and design to solve complex problems and turn evolving ideas into mobile experiences that feel simple and intuitive. This is a critical position to our business in order to drive the next phase of Rythm's growth.\nWe are looking for someone who can set technical direction while remaining close to the code, move comfortably through ambiguity, and bring strong judgment to both product and engineering decisions. You'll have significant ownership over our mobile architecture, development practices, and the quality of the experiences we deliver to our Rythm customers each and every day.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nOwn Rythm’s mobile apps from architecture and development through launch and ongoing improvement.\nBuild reliable, intuitive, and high-quality mobile experiences that make complex health information significantly easier for our customers to understand and use.\nPartner closely with product and design to translate evolving requirements into thoughtful technical solutions.\nMake practical technical decisions that balance speed, scalability, long-term maintenance, and the member experience.\nHelp define how we build mobile products, including our approach to testing, releases, performance, security, and monitoring.\nDiagnose and resolve complex technical issues across the mobile stack and the services that support it.\nCollaborate with backend and infrastructure engineers to design dependable APIs, data flows, and integrations.\nProvide technical leadership through strong execution, clear communication, and high-quality code reviews.\nIdentify risks, challenge assumptions, and help the team make better technical and product decisions.\nUse modern development tools, including AI-assisted workflows, to increase speed and quality without lowering the engineering bar.\nWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR\nYou’ve built and shipped mobile apps used by real customers and have owned major architectural and technical decisions.\nYou’ve led complex projects from the initial idea through launch and continued improvement.\nProven experience with native iOS, native Android, or cross-platform mobile development.\nA deep understanding of what it takes to build a mobile app that is reliable, fast, testable, and easy to maintain.\nExperience integrating mobile applications with APIs, authentication systems, analytics, notifications, and third-party services.\nAn ability to think beyond the code and make practical decisions based on what’s best for the product and the people using it. \nSomebody who absolutely thrives in a fast-moving, highly ambiguous environment.\nStrong communication skills and a collaborative working style across engineering, product, marketing and design.\nA hands-on mindset;
