You will develop and execute sourcing strategies and supply agreements for Corrugated Packaging, Folding Cartons, Labels, and Flexible Materials. This role develops strategic supplier partnerships to ensure continuity of supply and deliver cost, innovation, sustainability, working capital, and service objectives. You will partner cross-functionally and with suppliers to support innovation and drive profitable growth.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDevelop and own the regional Procurement sourcing strategy and deliver objectives for supply continuity, cost savings, working capital improvement, sustainability, innovation, and service.\nManage key supplier relationships across the region and maintain a deep understanding of relevant markets and the supply base.\nExecute category strategies through RFPs, supplier evaluation and selection, negotiations, and contract execution.\nLead supplier selection and component pricing for innovation projects and support those projects through commercialization.\nPartner with suppliers to identify and implement new product and process innovations that drive profitable growth.\nLead Paper & Printed Materials sustainability goals and objectives.\nDevelop inflation forecasts for the SCJ budgeting process, track commodity movements, mitigate inflation, and provide contractual pricing information to Operations teams.\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING\nBachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 7 years of experience in Procurement Portfolio/Category Management, Product Supply, Finance, or 5 years of relevant experience an advanced degree. related discipline.\nQualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS\nMaster’s degree or MBA preferred.\nTwo or more years of experience in the fast-moving Consumer Packaged Goods industry.\nExperience with paper packaging and/or Procurement Operations.\nStrong strategic procurement capabilities, including market analysis, strategic sourcing, negotiation, clean-sheet/should-cost analysis, and strategy execution.\nStrong communication and stakeholder-management skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple organizational levels in a matrixed organization.\nStrong financial acumen, including analysis of financial data and understanding of P&L and balance-sheet levers, combined with experience in Design to Value, risk/opportunity management, and strategic sourcing.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS\nFull-time position\nTravel up to 15%\nOffice work environment: Remote work available once a week for eligible employees\nThis role is not eligible for relocation.\nBENEFITS AND PERKS\nSC Johnson’s total compensation packages are at or above industry levels.
