Our platform spans energy trading, smart grid flexibility, meter management, and EV charge point operations, so you will be working on systems that are distributed, data-intensive, and run in production around the clock.\n\nResponsibilities: \nTake full end-to-end ownership of an assigned service design, development, deployment, and operations.\nBuild and maintain robust back-end APIs and services using Node.js .\nDevelop clean, responsive front-end interfaces with React.\nDesign data models and query strategies across MongoDB and time-series databases.\nUse Redis effectively for caching, pub/sub messaging, and performance optimisation.\nContainerise and deploy services with Docker on Linux environments.\nMonitor service health, investigate incidents, and drive resolution independently.\nCollaborate with the team on architecture decisions, code reviews, and technical direction.\nWrite documentation and maintain operational runbooks for your service.\n\nThe core requirements for the job include the following:\n\nBack-End and Systems: \n3 + years of professional Node.js experience in production environments.\nSolid understanding of distributed systems: message queues, eventual consistency, and service coordination.\nProduction experience with MongoDB and Redis.\nHands-on with working with time-series data.\nExperience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines for containerised deployments in a Linux environment.\n\nFront-End: \nStrong React skills, hooks and context.\nAbility to build performant UIs that handle real-time data streams and complex data sets.\nStrong CSS skills -
