The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with API development, middleware technologies, enterprise integration patterns, and production support.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and reliable integrations between enterprise applications, databases, and external systems while providing L2/L3 production support and troubleshooting complex integration issues.\n\nDuration - ASAP until Dec 31, 2027\nWork Mode - 100% Onsite\nLocation - Downtown Calgary\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Anypoint Studio, Runtime Manager, API Manager, and Anypoint Exchange.\nDevelop and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs using API-led connectivity principles.\nDesign API specifications using RAML and OpenAPI standards.\nBuild and optimize Mule flows, connectors, and data transformations using DataWeave.\nImplement robust error handling, exception management, logging, and monitoring.\nDevelop integration solutions following ESB architecture and enterprise integration patterns.\nIntegrate applications and systems using JSON, XML, HTTP, SQL, and relational databases, preferably Oracle.\nProvide L2/L3 production support, including incident investigation, troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and issue resolution.\nMonitor integration performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to ensure system reliability.\nSupport CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and deployments using Git, Maven, and DevOps tools.\nImplement API security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and secure data transmission.\nCollaborate with architects, developers, business analysts, and infrastructure teams to deliver integration solutions.\nPrepare and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and support procedures.\n\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\n6+ years of experience in enterprise application integration, middleware development, or related technologies.\nStrong hands-on experience developing and supporting integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.\nProficiency with Anypoint Studio, Runtime Manager, API Manager, and Anypoint Exchange.\nSolid understanding of API-led connectivity and REST/SOAP API development.\nExperience with RAML, OpenAPI, DataWeave, Mule flows, and connectors.\nStrong knowledge of ESB architecture and enterprise integration design patterns.\nExperience working with JSON, XML, HTTP, SQL, and relational databases.\nProven experience providing L2/L3 production support, troubleshooting integration failures, and conducting RCA.\nHands-on experience with Git, Maven, and CI/CD processes.\nWorking knowledge of Java, object-oriented programming (OOP), and API security.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\n\nNice to have\nExperience integrating MuleSoft with Oracle databases and enterprise applications.\nMuleSoft Developer certification.\nExperience working in large-scale enterprise environments with business-critical applications.\nFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.\nExperience with performance tuning, API monitoring, and production incident management.\n\nIdeal Candidate\nA hands-on MuleSoft Integration Developer with strong API development and enterprise middleware expertise who can independently build, maintain, troubleshoot, and support complex integrations.
