Embedded onsite, this role builds engagement models in SADM and leverages modelling and simulation tools to create and test libraries across ships, sensors, EA assets, and threat systems. The work includes verification and validation of digital models with opportunities to support shore-based and sea trials.\n\nInterested candidates must hold an active Secret / NATO Secret Clearance or higher, as the selected candidate will require an active NATO secret clearance prior to the contract start date.\n\n40 hours per week. Fully on-site in Ottawa, ON (Nepean). \n\nResponsibilities\nDevelop Electronic Attack (EA) mission libraries for the Royal Canadian Navy\nUse SADM and other modelling and simulation tools to create and test mission libraries\nConduct open and classified literature research and engineering analysis for system parameters and behaviours\nPerform mathematical modelling based on first principles to estimate system parameters\nExecute simulation engagements between ships, sensors, EA assets, and threat systems\nRun Monte Carlo simulations\nPerform analysis and verification to confirm system model behaviours\n\nMust Haves\nA bachelor’s degree in mathematics, physics, or engineering with 10 years’ experience, or a master’s degree with seven years’ experience\nRadar systems design and radar signal processing with analysis\nModelling and simulation using Ship Air Defence Model (SADM) and MATLAB/Simulink\nNATO Secret prior to start\nCanadian Citizen with dual-citizenship limitation due to
