This position is considered an essential function to the operation of the community therefore, consistent attendance is an essential function of this position, as it directly impacts the employee’s ability to perform their duties effectively and ensures proper workflow and communication within the team.\nPRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAbides by Fair Housing Laws.\nActively participates in the leasing of the property while striving for quality residency.\nOversees the financial activities of the property and handles banking duties.\nTroubleshoots resident problems and encourage resident renewals.\nInspect property to ensure quality.\nPrioritize the work of subordinates.\nCollects rent, and issues 5-day notices of eviction.\nHires and disciplines employees\nSupervises the security function for the protection of residents.\nEncourages by word and deed a positive resident relation attitude.\nOversees the preparation of financial reports.\nActs as liaison with outside contractors\nOversees the building repairs to ensure timely completion.\nParticipates in annual budget preparation.\nAttend scheduled corporate meetings.\nApproves and submits invoices.\nOther duties as assigned.\nOCCASIONAL FUNCTIONS:\nSchedule property improvements. \nPrepare maintenance orders and supply requisitions. \nSupervise pool personnel. \n\nPOSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh School Diploma/GEDMay be supplemented by prior supervisory experience in a customer service environment.\n\nCurrent Fair Housing Certification\nValid Driver’s License (if operating a vehicle)\nPREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:\nAdvanced college courses in management, public relations, or accounting. \nAt least two years of property management experience in a customer service environment. \nPHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:\nPhysical Activities up to and including, typing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, climbing stairs, or standing for periods of time. \nAbility to lift and move up to 50 lbs.\nGENERAL:\nHours worked will coincide with the hours of operation in the community.
