They move between properties as needed to cover staffing shortages, assist with daily operations, support leasing teams, and ensure each community runs smoothly.\nPerforms a variety of administrative duties related to the overall management of the property and assumes supervisory authority when the Community Manager is away from the property. This position is considered an essential function to the operation of the community therefore, consistent attendance is an essential function of this position, as it directly impacts the employee’s ability to perform their duties effectively and ensures proper workflow and communication within the team.\nPRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :\nAbides by Fair Housing Laws.\nPerforms all tasks relating to leasing the property, such as:Showing the property to prospective residents, preparing lease packets, run credit reports, inspects properties after “move-outs” and prior to “move-ins.”\n\nActively participates in the leasing of the property while striving for quality residency.\nHandles the accounting and posting duties for deposits and rent payments.\nResponds to telephone requests from residents and the public.\nHandles payroll administration aligning with Payroll Department.\nTracks traffic through the property\nPrepares purchase orders.\nCoordinates maintenance requests with the Maintenance Supervisor\nAggressively work on resident retention through positive resident relationships.\nOther duties as assigned.\nOCCASIONAL FUNCTIONS:\nMake bank deposits.\nAttend meetings on behalf of the Community Manager.\nAssist Maintenance department with computer equipment.\nTrain Employees\nReport preparation for Community Manager.\nPOSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh School Diploma/GEDMay be supplemented by prior supervisory experience in a customer service environment.\n\nCurrent Fair Housing Certification\nValid Driver’s License (if operating a vehicle)\nPREFERRED SKILLS/ ABILITIES:\nAdvanced college courses in management, public relations, or accounting.\nAt least two years of property management experience in a customer service environment.\nPHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:\nPhysical Activities up to and including, typing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, climbing stairs, or standing for periods of time.\nAbility to lift and move up to 50 lbs.\nGENERAL:\nHours worked will coincide with the hours of operation in the community.
