Other duties may be assigned.\nAssigns workers to accurately receive and stock all inbound freight.\nAssigns workers to accurately pull all customers orders and ship in specified time frame.\nAdministers company safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all employees.\nCommunicates with inbound and outbound freight companies.\nManages the fleet of trucks and drivers.\nEstablishes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and the accurate keeping of warehouse inventory.\nCoordinates activities of the warehouse with activities of central purchasing, merchandising, sales, and finance departments to ensure availability of merchandise and proper execution of administrative transactions.\nCommunicates information to General Manager, Operation Manager, or Headquarters in a timely manner to expedite merchandise receipt, shipping, and special handlings.\nDirects reclamation of damaged merchandise.\nUnderstands and operates PKMS warehouse management system.\nMonitor the daily checklist to ensure all processes are completed before the end of the shift\nPrint and interpret reports to measure employee productivity \nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nManages personnel and all supervisors associated with shifts. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these personnel.\nCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.\nResponsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Also responsible for asset control and the physical security of the facility.\nQualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; Four-year college degree preferred. 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nLanguage Skills:\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. \nAbility to write routine reports and correspondence. \nAbility to speak effectively before groups of employees.\nMathematical Skills:\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. \nAbility to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.\nReasoning Ability:\nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.\nAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.\nComputer Skills:\nKnowledge of basic office (spreadsheet, word processing, e-mail) as well as inventory and warehouse management software.
