The right fit will embrace the challenge and opportunity of an informal, fast-paced startup environment with a flat organizational structure.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nAbility to write complex stored procedures, functions as well as support/enhance existing code\nAbility to create/modify database schema, tables, indexes, etc.\nKnowledge of Indexes, cursors, triggers, stored procedures\nExperience working with partitioned tables and other database design patterns\nSQL Database backup, restore experience with working knowledge of log shipping, log mirroring\nSQL code optimization, tuning with ability to work with large datasets\nExtensive knowledge of Data transformation and validation\nResponsible for creating the table structures and will process data that is required to run business critical software applications\nAbility to process source data with various file formats such xml, csv etc\nInfrastructure or Product life cycle management domain knowledge\nWork with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs.\nAbility to understand requirements provided by Business Analysts and translate into ETL and query requirements\nApply best practices for testing and deployment in an agile environment.\nContribute to shared Data Engineering tooling & standards to improve engineering productivity across the company\nRequirements\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nMinimum 3 years SQL developer experience, developing / maintain SQL code\nSolid understanding of data architecture, efficient database design, writing complex queries and query tuning and troubleshooting\nPrior experience working with Tier-1 technology consulting firms is a huge plus\nProven hands-on experience building complex ETLs in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets\nScripting experience in python and bash shell\nProficiency with Git\nExperience with error handling and data validation\nExperience working in GCP or other cloud platforms\nBachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or similar\nMust be eligible to work in the US\nBenefits\nWhat’s in it for You?\nAt S5, you will get an opportunity to truly innovate while working with some of the smartest brains in the industry to solve existing and emerging business problems.
