Working within the Project Management Office (PMO), you’ll oversee project planning, budgets, stakeholder engagement and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. You’ll also have the opportunity to guide and mentor junior project staff while contributing to key organisational initiatives.\nAbout the role:\nReporting to the Senior Project Manager, this role is integral to driving strategic initiatives across SALHN, leading the delivery of large-scale, service-wide projects that improve organisational performance and support high-quality, safe patient care. The role focuses on effective project planning, stakeholder engagement, risk management and change delivery to achieve meaningful outcomes. Duties for the role will include:\nLeading the planning, delivery and evaluation of large-scale, service-wide projects that support SALHN’s strategic priorities and improve organisational outcomes.\nDeveloping detailed project plans, manage budgets, monitor risks and performance, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.\nBuild strong stakeholder partnerships and lead change management initiatives, collaborating with consumers, clinicians, executives and external partners.\nDrive project success through benefits realisation, continuous improvement and a collaborative team culture, while mentoring and supporting the development of project staff.\nAbout you:\nProven experience managing complex projects from initiation to completion, applying project management methodologies to deliver outcomes on time and within budget.\nStrong strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, navigate change and work effectively under pressure.\nExcellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.\nSound knowledge of project and change management principles, governance, risk management and quality improvement, ideally within a complex healthcare environment.\nPlease see the attached Role Description for additional information.\nWant To Know More?
