As part of a wider team, the Mechanic is responsible for conducting and maintaining high standards of aircraft maintenance and to undertake such maintenance in a safe and timely manner as appropriate to the role, and in accordance with approved data, MOE/work instructions and regulations.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTogether with our Aircraft Engineers, Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and maintain aircraft, engines, avionics, electrical systems, and ground support equipment.\nPerform defect rectification efficiently and effectively.\nUndertake specialist assignments including flight line and base maintenance, aircraft repairs, training, refueling, marshalling, and conducting pre-flight and post-flight checks.\nPerform acceptance inspections on components and equipment and assist with parts inventory management.\n\nSkills and Experience Required:\nCurrently working on and or has experience, working with the Bombardier Global G6000 (BD700) is highly desirable but not a requirement.\nExtensive experience in maintenance procedures and inspections, with a strong understanding of technical reference materials (e.g., maintenance manuals, illustrated part catalogues, service bulletins, structural repair manuals, engineering drawings, airworthiness notes).\nExcellent communication skills, fluent in both written and spoken English.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment and share knowledge and experiences with colleagues and customers.\nProficient in using computer-based maintenance systems and experienced in quality work according to military and/or civil aviation standards.\nCurious, open-minded, tolerant, and highly customer-focused, with a strong ability to adapt to new cultures.\nThis position requires that you will be approved in a security vetting in accordance to ISO:27001+\nThe Successful Candidate\nPreference will be given to those applicants who already have experience of working within a Corporate / Private aviation environment, or those with experience working on the Global 6000.\nApplicants should have an organized, adaptable and flexible approach with strong interpersonal skills and a diplomatic approach. You will be enthusiastic, willing to learn and maintain a professional appearance and manner even in sometimes difficult circumstances. The ability to prioritize in an ever-changing environment, remain calm and adapt under pressure are essential for the role. Excellent communication skills combined with courtesy and integrity are also important.
