With some of Sweden's most advanced defence programs, BU Submarines offers a unique environment for someone who wants to combine business acumen, leadership and strategic impact.\nYou will lead a team of controllers, providing direction, coaching and support while ensuring high-quality financial analysis, reporting and business support across the organization.\nAs a member of the BU Management Team, you will be a trusted business partner to senior leaders, turning financial data into business insights that support decision-making, improve performance and create long-term value. You are expected to challenge, influence and contribute to the continued development of the business through a proactive and business-oriented approach.\nYou will work closely with the organization and have overall responsibility for business control, financial analysis and performance follow-up in a large and complex operation. The focus is on ensuring strong financial control, increasing transparency and supporting profitable growth.\nWith a high level of responsibility, you will drive and develop business control activities, including:\nResponsibility for profit and loss and balance sheet follow-up\nFinancial analysis and reporting, including business plans, budgets, forecasts and month-end closing\nCost forecasting and financial follow-up of long-term contracts\nDevelopment and follow-up of KPIs and business performance models\nEvaluation of investments and business cases\nFinancial support in bid and proposal work\nPreparation of decision material and presentations for management, steering committees and external auditors\nEnsuring strong financial processes, internal control and compliance with accounting principles\nYou will report to the CFO of Business Area Naval and work closely with other controllers, finance specialists and business leaders. The role also offers opportunities to contribute to strategic analyses and development initiatives across the wider business.\nYour profile\nWe are looking for someone who combines strong business understanding with a genuine interest in the operations behind the numbers. You enjoy working in a role where you can influence, challenge and support the organization through high-quality financial analysis and business control.\nTo succeed in this role, we believe you have:\nSeveral years of experience in business controlling within a large and complex organization\nExperience leading, coaching and developing people\nA strong ability to act as a business partner to senior management\nGood understanding of project-based business, investments and long-term business commitments\nThe ability to combine a strategic perspective with operational execution\nStrong analytical and communication skills\nA university degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field\nExperience from project-driven businesses, manufacturing or industrial environments is considered an advantage.\nThe position is based in Lund.\nThe position requires that you pass a security clearance process in accordance with applicable security protection regulations.
