This individual will be responsible for identifying, developing, and capturing strategic business opportunities across our airborne business portfolio.\nThis individual will work closely with customers, the program management office, business development, engineering, and executive leadership to develop winning strategies for major pursuits and position Saab, Inc. for long-term growth.\nThe Capture Director will serve as a trusted partner to customers and stakeholders while helping expand the company’s presence across airborne surveillance, radar, mission systems, electronic warfare, sensors, and other related airborne defense capabilities.\nThis hybrid position is located at our East Syracuse, NY office.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nLead capture strategy and execution for strategic airborne business opportunities within the U.S.\nIdentify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities, driving growth across assigned accounts and programs.\nBuild and maintain relationships with military, government, industry, and contractor stakeholders.\nDevelop winning capture plans, including customer engagement strategies and customer engagement strategies.\nPartner with engineering, product management, contracts, and program teams to align solutions with customer requirements and mission needs.\nSupport proposal development, negotiations, and contract award activities for major pursuits.\nMonitor market trends, acquisition activities, and competitor positioning to inform growth strategies.\nAchieve portfolio growth objectives, including bookings, revenue, and pipeline targets.\nCompensation Range: $215,400 - $290,800\nThe compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.\nSkills and Experience:\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.\n10+ years of experience in defense, aerospace, business development, capture management, or similar customer-facing roles.\nDemonstrated success leading captures for defense and government opportunities.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nExperience supporting airborne mission systems, ISR platforms, radar systems, sensors, electronic warfare systems, aircraft integration, or related technologies.\nStrong understanding of U.S. defense acquisition processes and procurement practices.\nMust possess an active Secret security clearance or be eligible to obtain and maintain one.\nCitizenship Requirements:\nMust be a U.S. citizen.
