(DFWES Systems for vehicle and soldiers). We are part of a larger team that supports the British Army around the world.\nYour Role:\nPlanning and preparation of Communication and Information Systems (CIS) and Exercise Control (ExCon) equipment, including packing, system configuration and testing\nConducting corrective and preventative maintenance of CIS/ExCon equipment\nTechnical troubleshooting and helpdesk support to field teams\nTraining and supporting Field Technicians in equipment operation, including telescopic mast work and maintenance\nProviding occasional technical support during military exercises, including system setup and teardown, through-exercise monitoring and troubleshooting\nInstructing users in the operation and use of CIS/ExCon equipment\nDay-to-day coordination and support of CIS Technicians\nOccasional travels to other Saab locations and military exercises\nYour profile:\nPrevious experience in IT, CIS, communications or technical support environment\nPrevious experience working with Communication and Information Systems is beneficial\nPrevious experience supporting military training or exercises is beneficial\nGood understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft products\nGood understanding of computer networking and basic network troubleshooting\nTechnical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems\nAbility to work independently as well as effectively as part of a team\nC2+ English language skills, both written and spoken, are essential, with the ability to communicate confidently with military and civilian personnel\nGerman Language Knowledge is helpful\nFull driving license / EU driving license Category B\nForklift operating license is beneficial\nWillingness to travel\nBenefits:\nAttractive remuneration + monthly benefit in kind of € 50\nWork-life balance: kindergarten allowance\nHealth: meal vouchers;
