This position is ideal for a current student pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment. The successful candidate will support local operations while also contributing to enterprise-wide IT initiatives for employees and contractors.\nThis assignment is for the Winter/Spring 2027 term (January through early May, full-time). \nResponsibilities:\nProvide daily technical support for workplace information and communications systems, including Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Office Suite).\nAssist with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting laptops, desktops, and workstations, including basic network and system issues.\nHelp maintain data integrity and file system security, including managing permissions and access in Microsoft 365 under guidance.\nCommunicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical users.\nSupport research and provide recommendations for hardware and software solutions aligned with organizational needs.\nAssist with ongoing IT infrastructure and technology projects as assigned.\nHelp deliver basic training and guidance to users on common applications and tools.\nCompensation Range: $18.24 - $20.27 per hour\nIn addition to a competitive hourly rate, Saab, Inc. offers a sign-on bonus to offset housing expenses for Co-Op students residing outside the typical office commuting distance.\nThe compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.\nSkills and Experience:\nRequired Qualifications:\nCurrently enrolled in an Associate or Bachelor's degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.\nGeneral understanding of Windows-based systems and basic troubleshooting.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft 365 applications.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nBasic knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, and VPN).\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.\nCommitment to excellent customer service and follow-up.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExposure to Active Directory concepts.\nCitizenship Requirements:\nMust be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).\nDrug-Free Workplaces:\nSaab is a federal government contractor and adheres to policies and programs necessary for sustaining drug-free workplaces.
