As part of an emerging area within the organization, you will develop technical solutions, explore new ways of working, and support the adoption of modern data-driven methods across engineering teams.\nThe primary focus of this role is to build and improve data pipelines, analytics capabilities, and machine learning solutions using data generated throughout the development and testing of the GlobalEye system. You will collaborate closely with test engineers, systems engineers, software developers, product owners, and domain experts to transform complex technical data into actionable insights and scalable solutions.\nAs a Data & Machine Learning Engineer, you will:\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for engineering and product data.\nDevelop and improve machine learning workflows and supporting infrastructure.\nAnalyze complex datasets and create solutions that generate measurable value for engineering and development teams.\nCollaborate with systems engineers, software developers, product owners, and domain experts across the organization.\nHelp establish and mature data-driven ways of working.\nIdentify opportunities where analytics, automation, and machine learning can improve engineering processes, product quality, and decision-making.\nContribute to initiatives from concept through implementation and operational use.\nSupport colleagues and stakeholders in understanding and adopting data, analytics, and machine learning methodologies.\nYour profile\nWe believe that success in this role is driven as much by mindset as by technical expertise. Most importantly, you are motivated by solving complex challenges, creating value through practical solutions, and helping others embrace opportunities within data, AI, and machine learning.\nRequired Qualifications\nMaster's degree in Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related engineering discipline.\nExperience in software development, data engineering, analytics, machine learning, or a similar technical field.\nExperience developing solutions using Python and modern data processing or machine learning frameworks.\nUnderstanding of data pipelines, data modeling, and modern data processing concepts.\nAbility to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across technical and executive business domains.\nMeritorious Experience\nExperience with sensor data, sensor fusion, or real-time data processing.\nExperience working with complex technical products or systems in highly engineered environments.\nKnowledge of MLOps practices, model deployment, and workflow automation.\nExperience with cloud-based Data & AI platforms\nExperience with technologies such as Delta Lake, Iceberg, Kafka, Spark, Airflow, Dagster, MLflow, PyTorch, Pandas, JAX or other large-scale data & machine learning tools.\nMilitary service and/or defence-related experience.\nThis position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection.
