This is an opportunity to work hands-on with modern platform technologies while contributing to the evolution of a critical service that enables application delivery across the organization. You will be part of a team responsible for both development and operations, driving automation, reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement of our Kubernetes environments.\nAs a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the team responsible for our Kubernetes platform services. The platforms are widely used across the organisation and are a key enabler for modern application development and deployment.\nYou will work with both the existing platform and the development of future platform capabilities. The role combines infrastructure engineering, platform development, automation, and operational responsibility with opportunities to influence technical direction and future platform architecture.\nWorking closely with architects, developers, security specialists, and operations teams, you will help ensure that our platform services remain robust, secure, scalable, and easy to consume for our internal customers. As part of the operational responsibility for the platform, you will participate in an on-call rotation together with the team.\nKey responsibilities:\nDesign, build, maintain and evolve Kubernetes-based platform services\nWork across development and operations to automate, operate and continuously improve our platform services\nContribute to platform engineering practices and self-service capabilities\nSupport and enable development teams using the platform\nContribute to the migration and evolving of existing platform services\nCollaborate with architects and stakeholders to translate technical requirements into practical solutions\nYour profile\nWe believe the right person for this role is curious, collaborative and eager to learn. You enjoy solving problems together with others and creating solutions that make a real difference for teams around you.\nYou do not need to know everything from day one. What matters most is that you enjoy working in fast moving and complex environments, are willing to take ownership and want to be part of Saab's ongoing transformation within software, data and AI.\nWhat we are looking for:\nStrong experience with Kubernetes and container-based platforms\nExperience with automation and Infrastructure as Code\nExperience working in Linux-based environments\nGood understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices\nExperience operating and supporting business-critical services\nUnderstanding of cloud-native technologies and platform engineering principles\nStrong communication skills in both Swedish and English\nRelevant education or equivalent work experience\nIt’s a bonus if you also have:\nExperience working in hybrid Kubernetes environments\nExperience with platform engineering and internal developer platforms\nKnowledge of container security and compliance requirements\nExperience from large or complex organisations\nThis position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection.
