It has major operations all over the world and is part of the domestic defence capability of several nations.\nThe Role:\nTo provide technical support for the assembly, integration, testing, maintenance and repair of electronic and electromechanical systems, ensuring high standards of quality, safety and workmanship are maintained whilst supporting laboratory, development and production activities.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManufacture and assemble electronic and electromechanical systems, including wiring harnesses, PCBAs, mechanical assemblies and associated hardware.\nCarry out inspection, testing, integration and commissioning of electronic and electromechanical assemblies in accordance with approved procedures and documentation.\nDiagnose, troubleshoot and repair faults within electronic, electrical and electromechanical systems.\nSupport the modification, rework and maintenance of prototype and production hardware to meet engineering and quality requirements.\nInterpret engineering drawings, wiring schematics, assembly instructions and test documentation to accurately build and integrate systems.\nAssist in the installation, operation and testing of sensors, actuators, motors and other electromechanical devices.\nMaintain accurate build, test and inspection records in accordance with company quality processes.\nEnsure compliance with ESD, health and safety, quality and laboratory procedures.\nSupport the maintenance of laboratory equipment, tooling and work areas, ensuring a safe and organised environment.\nContribute to continuous improvement activities to enhance manufacturing quality, efficiency and repeatability.\nSupport stock control and management of laboratory consumables and components.\nWork collaboratively with engineers and senior technicians to support development, integration and test programmes.\nOther Duties and Responsibilities\nTo actively participate in Blue Bear’s Performance Management Scheme. \nTo undertake such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably required within the grade and level of the post. \nYou will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your evolving role within the company and the overall business objectives of the company.\n Some travel within the UK may be required.\nThe above is not an exhaustive list of duties.
