Responsible for project outcomes across scope, schedule, cost, quality and customer satisfaction, the role leads project delivery teams, manages customer relationships and ensures successful execution in accordance with project and contractual objectives.\nFurther, the successful candidate will:\nLead the delivery of complex defence systems projects across the full lifecycle\nManage project scope, cost, schedule, quality and risk outcomes\nProvide leadership, mentoring and direction to project team members\nLead customer reviews, steering committees and project governance forums\nManage contract variations and project change requests\nDrive stakeholder engagement across customers, partners and internal teams\nIdentify opportunities to maximise project and business outcomes\nFlexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office and a 9-day fortnight will be considered for this role after discussion with the manager.\nAbout you\nYour skills and experience will include:\nTertiary qualifications in Engineering, Science, Business or a related discipline\nDemonstrated experience leading complex projects within Defence or a related sector\nStrong understanding of project management principles and methodologies\nExperience managing systems integration and system development projects\nProven ability to lead, mentor and develop high-performing project teams\nWell-developed stakeholder management and customer engagement skills\nExcellent planning, scheduling, risk management and problem-solving capability\nApplicants must be Australian citizens and hold or be able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to baseline/NV1/NV2 level.] Information including past and present nationality and citizenship may be requested to check eligibility for access to materials controlled under various export control regimes, including ITAR.\nWhat you will be part of\nExplore a world of possibilities.
