And discover what you truly enjoy.\nYour role\nAs a Systems Engineer, you will join our Systems Engineering team within Business Unit Fighter Core Capabilities at Saab Surveillance. We develop safety-critical avionics systems for aircraft, helicopters, and unmanned platforms, working closely with other Saab organizations and external partners.\nYou will contribute throughout the product lifecycle, from requirements and architecture to integration, verification, and delivery. Working in a requirements-driven development environment, you will collaborate with project managers, developers, test engineers, and customers to ensure our systems meet demanding safety and performance requirements.\nYour responsibilities may include:\nEliciting, analyzing, and managing system requirements.\nDeveloping system architecture and system design.\nPerforming system safety analyses.\nPlanning, coordinating, and leading system integration activities.\nDefining and driving system-level verification and validation activities.\nCoordinating verification efforts across disciplines such as hardware, software, and systems engineering.\nFollowing up on requirements coverage, verification status, and test results.\nIn this role, you will act as a key link between different areas of expertise and collaborate closely with developers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our systems meet requirements and perform as intended.\nYour profile\nThis is a role for someone who enjoys working across technical disciplines and is motivated by understanding the bigger picture. We welcome candidates with a few years of experience, but also more senior profiles.\nYou hold a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechatronics, or a related field. Experience in requirements engineering, system architecture, verification and validation, or safety-critical systems is considered an advantage.\nYou communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Swedish is beneficial.\nAs a person, you are structured, collaborative, and communicative. You build strong relationships, take ownership of your work, and thrive in an environment with many stakeholders and interfaces. You are curious, adaptable, and motivated by solving complex technical challenges.\nThis position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection.
