Experience and expertise in areas such as electronic warfare, radio-electronic reconnaissance, command and control systems, communications systems, ICT networks and cybersecurity would be an advantage.\nYour place of work will be the Gdańsk/Gdynia office. This position is primarily office-based, so remote work is possible only in exceptional circumstances.\nThe position will require occasional travel within Poland and internationally to support business needs and projects.\nYour role:\nInstall, commission, configure, and maintain equipment and systems;\n\nDiagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions;\n\nPerform preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and service activities;\n\nProvide technical support and assist in resolving operational issues;\n\nConduct testing, measurements, and functional checks of equipment;\n\nPrepare service reports and maintain accurate technical and service documentation;\n\nCommunicate technical findings and recurring issues to internal engineering, R&D, production, and customer service teams;\n\nSupport equipment/software upgrades, modifications, and improvements;\n\nEnsure all service activities are performed in accordance with technical documentation, quality standards, and health & safety requirements.\n\nYour profile:\nAcademic/Technical, military education, preferably in engineering, automation, electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field;\n\nAt least 2 years’ experience in a technical service, maintenance, commissioning, or field engineering role will be an advantage;\n\nGood understanding of one or several of the following systems is beneficial: - electronic warfare, including electronic support measures and electronic countermeasures; - signals intelligence and radio-electronic reconnaissance systems; - combat management systems, tactical display systems, or related systems; - communication systems, particularly IP-based networks.\n\nGood understanding of the Polish Armed Forces’ regulations, standards and requirements;\n\nAbility to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and documentation;\n\nGood command of English, both written and spoken;\n\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;\n\nPractical, hands-on approach to technical challenges;\n\nGood communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset;\n\nAbility to work independently as well as part of a team;\n\nExcellent social skills to build up and maintain interpersonal, business partner, and customer relations;\n\nAbility to plan and coordinate effectively and efficiently to keep focus on priorities and deal with several complex issues simultaneously;\n\nDriving licence, category B.\n\nWhat we offer:\nAnnual holiday allowance;\n\nPrivate medical care;\n\nLife insurance;\n\nSubsidized sports card;\n\nEyewear reimbursement;\n\nOpportunities for professional development and certified trainings.\n\nAs a Personal Security Clearance is required for this role, applicants shall already hold or have the ability to obtain one.\nApplicants selected will be subject to a security vetting and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, including presenting a certificate of clear criminal record obtained from the Polish National Criminal Register.\nWhat you will be a part of:\nSaab is a leading defence and security company with an enduring purpose, to help nations keep their people and society safe.
