The ideal candidate is highly motivated, solutions-focused, and committed to resolving customer issues. A positive outlook, strong collaboration skills, and a desire to help others are essential for success in this role.\nResponsibilities:\nProvide remote and occasional on-site technical support to customers across multiple complex systems.\n\nDiagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug complex electro-mechanical equipment, computer systems, software, and networked and/or wireless systems.\n\nResolve complex issues independently or in collaboration with others, as needed.\n\nRespond to situations where first-line technicians are unable to isolate or resolve issues with malfunctioning equipment or software.\n\nIdentify and report design, reliability, and maintenance issues, as well as software bugs, to design and software engineering teams.\n\nInteract frequently with customers to provide technical support and develop strong relationships.\n\nSupport additional company functions, including customer installations and training, as needed.\n\nTravel domestically and internationally as required, up to 25% annually (approximately 2 - 4 trips per quarter).\n\nCompensation Range: $72,000 - $90,000\nThe compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.\nSkills and Experience:\nRequired Qualifications:\nBA/BS degree in an engineering discipline with 2+ years of related experience, or an MA/MS degree in an engineering discipline, or 6+ years of military or aerospace experience.\n\nExperience with the design, operation, or maintenance of radar and surveillance systems.\n\nAbility to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.\n\nStrong oral and written communication skills.\n\nProven ability to build positive customer relationships through continued, long-term interaction.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nNetworking experience or certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+).\n\nHardware and/or electrical installation experience.\n\nExperience with Unix, Linux, and MATLAB.\n\nActive Secret Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain and maintain a clearance.\n\nInternal applicants: In a commitment to encourage open dialogue, it is expected any employee that applies for an available position should initiate a conversation with their current manager before applying for a new position.\nCitizenship Requirements:\nMust be a U.S. citizen.
