You'll be responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse, inventory, and shipping activities, ensuring that parts and materials are handled accurately and delivered on time.\nWhat you will be doing:\nManaging and maintaining our internal inventory database with precision\nSupporting the Warehouse Manager and collaborating closely with the Logistics Coordinator\nPreparing domestic and international shipments, including hazardous materials (HAZMAT), while ensuring full compliance with Transport Canada regulations\nLiaising with suppliers and service providers to coordinate shipments and inventory needs\nReceiving and unpacking deliveries, verifying materials against documentation\nConducting inventory audits and stocktaking activities\nWorking collaboratively with stakeholders across Saab to ensure seamless operations\nContributing to a small, close-knit team where flexibility and shared responsibility are valued\nThis role offers genuine variety and the opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic, hands-on environment.\nYour profile\nWe're looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative team setting. You don't need to tick every box - if you're motivated to learn and grow with us, we encourage you to apply.\nWhat you would bring:\nA high school diploma\n2-3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping, or receiving (candidates with less experience who demonstrate the right attitude are also encouraged to apply)\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, email, and Teams\nStrong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail\nThe ability to manage paperwork and documentation accurately\nPhysical capability to handle lifting up to 20 kg, work on ladders, assemble crates, and remain standing for extended periods\nComfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions during shipment activities\nA valid driver's licence with a clean record, and the ability to operate a company vehicle when required\nAccess to a personal vehicle for commuting to the worksite\nThe ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being a strong team player\nFlexibility and adaptability in a collaborative small-team environment\nNice to have:\nForklift certification (training will be provided if needed)\nExperience working in a small team where roles and priorities may shift\nThis position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around security protection.
