This position will serve as the primary authority for CM/DM processes, ensuring configuration integrity, documentation control, and compliance with Government and program requirements throughout the system lifecycle.\nPosition Type: Full-Time\nSalary: $100k-150k annually (depending upon experience)\nWork Location: Onsite.\nEssential Functions:\nLead configuration management and data management efforts across multiple programs and Integrated Product Teams.\nDevelop, implement, and maintain Configuration Management Plans, procedures, and supporting processes.\nEstablish and oversee configuration control boards, change management processes, and configuration baselines.\nDirect and manage Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) activities and configuration audits.\nProvide configuration management guidance to program managers, engineers, and Government stakeholders.\nEnsure compliance with Government, contractual, and program-specific CM/DM requirements.\nLead configuration status accounting and reporting activities.\nSupport acquisition planning, milestone reviews, technical reviews, and program audits.\nIdentify process improvements and implement CM/DM best practices.\nPrepare executive-level briefings, reports, metrics, and recommendations.\nMentor and provide guidance to CM/DM personnel.\nOther duties as assigned or required.\nRequirements\nRequired:\nMinimum of twelve (12) years of experience in software, hardware, document configuration management, data management, or a related discipline.\nExtensive experience managing configuration control of technical data, documentation, and acquisition products.\nExperience leading Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) and configuration control processes.\nStrong knowledge of Government configuration management, data management, and documentation control requirements.\nExperience supporting large-scale defense, acquisition, or weapons systems programs.\nExceptional verbal and written communication skills.\nDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and work independently.\nDesired:\nBachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.\nExperience supporting NAVAIR, DoD, or weapons systems acquisition programs.\nExperience leading software configuration management activities.\nExperience supporting program milestone reviews and lifecycle management activities.\nSecurity Clearance:\nActive Top Secret clearance required.
