The selected candidate will support the assembly, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems supporting developmental and production programs. This position will play a critical role in building and integrating electrical subsystems, cable harnesses, sensors, telemetry equipment, power distribution systems, and communications infrastructure used in laboratory, field, and test range environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with electrical fabrication, system integration, troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance activities within a government, aerospace, or defense environment.\nPosition Type: Full-Time\nSalary: $91k - $125k annually (depending upon experience)\nWork Location: Onsite\nEssential Functions:\nBuild, wire, fabricate, and integrate electrical and electronic systems for developmental and production projects.\nPerform cable fabrication, harness assembly, and connector installation for power, signal, radio frequency (RF), and data systems.\nSupport integration of power distribution systems, embedded electronics, sensors, telemetry systems, and related subsystem components.\nCollaborate closely with engineers to support electrical system assembly, integration, testing, and iterative modifications.\nConduct bench testing, validation, system checkout, and performance verification using industry-standard electrical test equipment.\nTroubleshoot electrical faults, signal integrity issues, wiring discrepancies, and system integration challenges in laboratory and field environments.\nSupport installation and integration of electrical systems on testbeds, platforms, instrumentation systems, and range infrastructure.\nAssist with developmental network and communication system setups in support of test and evaluation activities.\nPerform preventive maintenance, repair, calibration, and sustainment of electrical and electronic equipment.\nSupport test event execution, including instrumentation setup, monitoring, data collection support, and system teardown activities.\nMaintain configuration control of electrical components, schematics, wiring diagrams, and system baselines.\nDocument wiring changes, engineering modifications, maintenance actions, and test results in accordance with program requirements.\nEnsure compliance with applicable safety standards, electrical codes, quality requirements, and range procedures.\nOther duties as assigned or required.\nRequirements\nRequired:\nMinimum of 10 years of hands-on experience as an Electronics Technician, Engineering Technician, or related technical role supporting electronic systems and equipment.\nExperience fabricating cables, wiring harnesses, and electrical assemblies for power, signal, RF, and data systems.\nExperience integrating electrical systems, sensors, telemetry equipment, embedded electronics, and communications systems.\nAbility to perform electrical testing, validation, troubleshooting, and fault isolation using standard electrical test equipment.\nExperience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.\nKnowledge of electrical safety practices, industry standards, and quality assurance requirements.\nStrong organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.\nBachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field required.\nDesired:\nExperience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), Navy, NAVAIR, test and evaluation, or defense contracting programs.\nExperience supporting test range operations, instrumentation systems, and field testing activities.\nFamiliarity with telemetry systems, embedded electronics, sensor integration, and communications infrastructure.\nUnderstanding of AS9100 quality management standards and aerospace manufacturing processes.\nExperience with configuration management and technical documentation control processes.\nKnowledge of network infrastructure and communication systems used in test environments.\nEducation:\nBachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field required.\nSecurity Clearance:\nActive Secret clearance required.
