This position is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented individual interested in developing hands-on experience within a technical engineering environment.\nPosition Type: Full-Time\nSalary: $19.05 per hour\nWork Location: Onsite.\nEssential Functions:\nAssist with the installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, fabrication, and operation of electronic and mechanical equipment and systems.\nSupport the preparation and maintenance of technical documents, drawings, reports, studies, databases, logs, and project records.\nResearch technical issues and compile information for reports and engineering studies.\nAssist with the fabrication, testing, and documentation of hardware and software systems.\nProvide basic support for the design, coding, and documentation of software products.\nMaintain accurate filing systems, databases, inventory records, and project-status logs.\nSupport onsite communication and coordination with customers during equipment installation, testing, fabrication, and related engineering activities.\nFollow engineering plans, documentation standards, system specifications, test procedures, and established policies.\nOther duties as assigned or required.\nRequirements\nRequired:\nBasic working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software applications.\nAbility to follow technical instructions and take direction from senior personnel.\nAbility to complete assignments accurately while working within established deadlines.\nStrong communication, analytical, planning, and organizational skills.\nAbility to maintain accurate technical documentation, records, and project information.\nAbility to comply with applicable operational, safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures.\nDesired:\nPrevious hands-on experience supporting engineering, electronics, mechanical equipment, fabrication, testing, maintenance, or other technical activities.\nExperience preparing or maintaining technical documents, drawings, databases, logs, or inventory records.\nFamiliarity with engineering documentation standards, system specifications, or test procedures.\nExperience working in a government contracting, military, aerospace, test-range, or technical operations environment.\nEducation:\nHigh school diploma or GED required. Relevant technical training, vocational education, certifications, or hands-on experience related to the assigned work unit is preferred.\nWorking Conditions:\nWork is primarily performed in a typical office or technical work environment. The position requires prolonged sitting, regular computer use, close visual attention when reviewing documents, effective verbal communication, and consistent mental alertness.\nOccasional lifting of up to 20 pounds may be required. Travel to remote company or customer work locations may also be necessary.\nSecurity Clearance:\nMust be eligible to obtain a secret clearance.
