Saalex offers competitive compensation, career development, flexible work schedules and excellent benefits.\nPosition Type: Contingent on Contract Award.\nSalary: $145k-$200k (depending on experience)\nThe Information Technology Manager supports the Navy by leading enterprise IT operations, engineering, and cybersecurity activities across global Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) environments. This role is responsible for strategic planning, service delivery, system reliability, and compliance with DoD and Navy cybersecurity requirements.\nEssential Functions:\nLead enterprise IT operations, including infrastructure, network, and system services supporting NETTN environments. \nOversee system availability, performance, and capacity planning across distributed CONUS and OCONUS environments. \nEnsure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, RMF, STIGs, and Navy directives. \nDirect implementation of IT service management (ITSM) practices aligned with ITIL frameworks. \nManage and coordinate incident response, problem management, and change management activities. \nProvide leadership and oversight to IT staff, including mentoring, performance management, and workforce planning. \nSupport system engineering and integration efforts to ensure secure and scalable architectures.\nCoordinate with Government stakeholders, program leadership, and technical teams to align IT services with mission objectives. \nOversee audits, inspections, and accreditation activities, including ATO support.\nOther duties as assigned or required.\nRequirements\nRequired:\n12+ years of experience in IT management, systems engineering, or enterprise IT operations. \nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). \nDemonstrated experience managing enterprise IT environments and technical teams. \nStrong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity principles. \nExperience with RMF, STIGs, and DoD cybersecurity frameworks. \nRelevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, ITIL Foundation or higher).\nDesired:\nMaster’s degree in a related field. \nExperience supporting DoD or Navy programs and classified environments. \nExperience with cloud platforms, virtualization, and enterprise monitoring tools. \nAdvanced certifications (e.g., ITIL Expert, CISSP-ISSMP, AWS/Azure certifications).\nStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. \nAbility to manage large-scale IT operations and multiple priorities. \nStrategic thinking with a focus on continuous improvement and mission success. \nSecurity Clearance:\nMust be eligible to obtain a Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance. Active clearances preferred.
